Dr. David Cain has been a dedicated foot and ankle surgeon since 2019, with a robust focus on ankle arthritis, total ankle replacements, various other ankle procedures, and sports medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central College in Pella, Iowa, in 2009, followed by a Master of Science in Anatomy from Des Moines University in 2012. Dr. Cain completed his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in 2016 and finished a comprehensive three-year residency at Columbia St. Mary’s in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Cain holds board certifications from the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, with additional qualifications in sports medicine. His professional memberships include the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics, American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Cain is affiliated with Mary Greeley Medical Center and is committed to delivering expert care to his patients.
